"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Get one like Lee Priest did! Muahaha! You know which one I'm talking about, right? I'll look for the pic. It's ummm..very...stupid? To each his own I guess.

I have a half sleeve done, all viking symbols and things of that sort. I don't regret it(meaning I wouldn't get them removed), but if I had the oppurtunity to do it all over again, I would not get tattooed. Do yourself a favor and only get tattooed if you really feel like it's something you SHOULD do, like a deep seated, kind of need for fufillment. Otherwise, when it comes down to it, it's polluting your ONE and ONLY body, and after a while, you(like me), might look down on it and just think it looks like litter or grafitti on your skin.

Swedish Viking,

I am actually getting a coverup done. I know exactly what you are saying though. If I didn't have a tattoo there I probably wouldn't even get one done but tattoo removals look even worse.

My muscles are my tattoos. MY rule is, if you can't change it, forget it. So I do things like, grow my hair out, sideburns, the Steve Reeves stash, etc. Then if you get tired of it, no big deal! Change it up, cut it, then it's a whole new ballgame. Tada!

In the last month and a bit I got some of my new tattoo started. 3 and a half hours in and probably another 4 or more hours to go.

If you look closely you can still see the cover-up underneath. I think I am going to do full black and gray with no color. The only part that sucks is I haven't been able to workout my arms in the last month and a half because of healing. I'm starting to look flat.

I never got the whole tattoo thing, especially for someone trying to build their body. It really is distracting to one's physique. Why cover what you tried so hard to build up? And i see Lee Priest went the Mike Tyson route and got one on half of his face. It looks ridiculous.

If you like art then why not decorate your body. Tattooing to me is the second best art form because the canvas is living. The first is bodybuilding, and yes I think that is an art form as well. With bodybuilding and tattooing I can sculpt and "paint" my canvas.(Me) If you study the art of tattooing you will probably appreciate it as well.
You know there are allot of people out there that think bodybuilding is disgusting, with the bulging muscles and veins but to other like us it is art.

Just my opinion.
