"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Anybody tried the home made muesli recommended in Ripped by Clarence Bass? Just had a bowl I actually like it it's nice.

It sounds good, I might try it. I generally eat his "old reliable" breakfast of rolled oats, chopped fruit, nuts, seeds etc.

For cost sake, I usually wind up using Orange Roughie or Mahi Mahi.

i hate to put a damper on this but we should be informed that Sea Bass is very high in Hg and are caught using environmentally destructive methods. The gubnit recommends no more than three servings a month.

I'm sure this is but a mere sarcastic remark by our good friend Scott who is always full of stand up! haha

Hehe - I guess folks really do just jump right in before reading.

Interesting.

For as much Clarence Bass as I've read, I've never actually tried to replicate his Old Reliable recipe. Going to have to make it a point to do so...

The post is actually about what Clarence Bass eats. "C Bass" rather than "Sea Bass".

Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt, Brian!

I actually read Ace's OP and wanted to sue him for false advertising. Instead, I went ahead and posted the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of the thread and that's this delicioso Cuban Fish recipe.

The first time I saw it was in the local newspaper, but I couldn't put my hands on the clipping, so I found a very similar one on AllRecipes.com.

That recipe ain't no joke. I highly recommend it --- mercury be damned!!!

I thought this was actually about eating Sea Bass for breakfast.
I was about to relate my customery breakfast of sardines, olives and sun-dried tomatoe breakfast.
Never mind.

If you re-read Ace's post, he mentioned Clarence Bass, aka C. Bass. So sea stands for C. in this case. It was supposed to be interpreted as "A C. Bass Breakfast".

Nowhere did he mention fish, other than in the title. Did you think Clarence Bass was a type of bass?
