"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"

The New Bodybuilding for

MUCH of that "something."

Joseph,

What are your thoughts up to this point given your experience with the Renex machines? Pros? Cons? etc.

I'm not little brother Joe, but the pro is you can hold your double-arm workout resistance in the contracted position with one pinky so that it gets at that pinky's physiology and empties out its tank.

The con is you can hold your double-arm workout resistance in the contracted resistance with one pinky.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

==Scott==
I believe I'm just as critical of anything on this board as I am about REN-EX. Other entities on here like X-Force or whatever have not said the things that REN-EX states that puts the onus on them to prove such claims. I actually like the idea of moving slow 10-10 and such that REN-EX speaks of. I have confidence that their machines are top notch. I get good feel in my muscles when I try a workout using REN-EX style reps but I just don't see any indication that it actually builds muscle any faster or even as well as the regular paced reps that I use on my ancient Nautilus. I would genuinely like to see that proven somehow but until REN-EX or someone else can do that it's all just theory/talk.

Dear Edward,

Please buy ALL the SS/Renex machines.

Please post your before and after pics along with your strength increases, muscle gain and fat loss percentages just like Dr. Darden does in all his studies.

It will be great for you to show the board your study and just how far the SS/Renex protocol and machines have come from when after years of trying they produced nothing.

Good luck in your study.

Your Pal,

I actually agree with this. This was a good post. They're focusing on something that would make little difference to the average trainee. Now rehab or having to train around previous injuries or health issues....that's a different story.

Two quick points:

1. I would bet my bank account that 99% of their clientele (and they operate successful businesses) are 'average trainees'.

2. RE: rehab, training around previous injuries or health issues...look around...you just described 99% of the population. Almost no clients come to me in the absence of condition you describe...they may end up 'healthy'...but they certainly don't start that way.

Your comments regarding the relevance of RenEx is way off base, especially considering your lack of experience with it. Now, it may not be 'required' except in some specific cases, but that is different than what you have said. You are simply not in a position to judge or determine how much 'difference' it may or may not make for anyone.

So, you're saying if I switched from doing what I am doing now, I would make significant progress? You're either marketing renx or just oblivious to your own ignorance.

Mr. Davidson,

I'm far past the age where I'm concerned about posting pictures to show how big my muscles are. I'm looking for the most effective, safe way to maintain my functional ability. I have noticed that the types that are most demanding about before/after pictures and the ones who think this is all about who has the biggest biceps are the same characters that would never post their own pictures and the ones who don't have very impressive physiques themselves.

Sincerely,
Edward

Josh said RenEx is the best and fastest method for building muscles. He stated he can build them faster than any other method available with a level of safety previously unknown.

So you can have the best of both worlds and need not worry about those big biceps. You'll have them before you know it.

d

P.S. Are you also unaffiliated with RenEx like Joe A? Do you regularly workout with Josh too?

Mr.db144,

This goes way beyond big muscles.

I do not know Mr.Joe A. Joshua has put me through the machines one time. This was at the Renaissance Experience workshop.

Such support after only one use of the equipment, makes one wonder. Do you often base your opinions and arguments
on that which you have limited experience?

You must make a lot of snap judgments and impulse purchases.

I could be wrong about this but maybe it's not about big muscles at all and more about other things like safety, fitness, health and belonging to a cult of people who think the REN-EX way?? I'd like to believe that big muscles could be built on REN-EX machines but so far I haven't seen any examples of that happening? What was your experience with the machines?

Fried eggplant is fantastic! I like to really load it with mozzarella and tomato sauce; goes great alongside pasta or just on italian bread.

When it comes to the training table I think eggplant is highly underrated; it may not have many calories on it's own, but you can really build a big meal with it.

Give me any tool and I can optimize the effects... viz., adjust the tool to create an incredible training medium. Keep using the same tool in the same way, and the body becomes accustomed to that tool... SAID Principle... but manipulate that tool, and it can give a lot of effect. The quality of any tool will be dependent upon how you use that tool.

Edward, my bad. Little did I know you were preparing for the assisted living home. By all means then, buy ALL the SS/Renex machines. I can wholeheartedly say you won't be disappointed.

As for me, call me immature but at 54 it still is about who has the biggest muscles. You see, SS promised that and couldn't deliver. Not just to me mind you, but one and all. That's why there was a mass exodus. The emperor had no clothes.

Mr.Davidson,

I carried the same 16 year old fantasy into my 40's. The reality is if you haven't got huge yet it's not going to happen. Having abnormally large muscles isn't important in the big scheme of things and a guy like you will never be satisfied with any training system because none of them will ever fulfill the fantasy. I don't believe you will ever see your dream of being a bodybuilder. It might keep you training, which is good but I'm guessing your goals are unrealistic and you would prefer to be angry at those who produce the better systems, those who let you down.

Mr.entsminger,

Mr.Trentini has an impressive build and he showed me pictures of at least 10 other bodybuilders he's trained in the last few years. However I don't think this is their target market.

Jittery Ed,

The RenEx propaganda is working on you well. Did these BBer's show up and start from scratch with RenEx or were they already competition grade like Josh?

If RenEx is good why has Josh packed on all the excess weight especially if he doesn't believe in bulking and shedding weight?

If one were to base his before and after RenEx pictures one would have to say that method is a failure.

Yes, Joshua has a fine build for his genetics but there's no evidence that all came from REN-EX training any more than what Viator got was from Nautilus training.I'm still waiting for him to show us those 10 bodybuilders who have substantial size who got that way by REN-EX methods. Yes,it's not clear who their target market is. As I said it could be more of a health, fitness safe workout method market.Other than some nut cases on here who dwell on bean sprouts and fat levels I see the market here as guys who want big and stronger muscles as quickly and as safely as possible.

This just in from the REN-EX blog.

"If X-Force has something negative to say about RenEx, they SHOULD say it?.all part of the learning experience."

When I stated that REN-EX had unnecessarily come down hard on X-Force, Hutchins said it was a necessary thing to do. My rebutals to these posts were all deleted. Learning experience, my ass. The only learning experience one gets on the REN-EX site is propaganda and uncontested hype. They are scared to death to print anything that isn't a rah, rah pep rally about how wonderful they are. REN-EX is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wrong and troll poop. Josh has been on a raw diet and building back up large amounts of muscle. This after a hard solid multi year stretch of shredding for comp.- which like any sport does take its toll. If he does choose to compete again I am sure all will be impressed by his ability to show all natural muscle.

Andrew
